I'm back from Malaysia. (: So here's the 5-day routine..First day :Woke up very early around 4.50? Ugh. This was the earliest time I got up so far. But surprisingly, I wasn't tired at all. Headed to the golden mount ( if I didn't mispell), and there, the agency wasn't open yet. So, everyone ended up waiting there and it got quite stuffy...After registration at the agency, the whole fam boarded the bus and waited for just a few minutes, and headed to the Customs. And there, switched to another bus which was more comfortable. The bus then stopped at johor, to let us have our breakfast. And I chose wan ton mee. It was the most tasty one I had ever eat! LAUGHOUTLOUD...And Genting, here we come! Strangely, Genting there wasn't as cold as the last time I visited a few years back. And the waiting hall for registration was extremely crowded! So no doubt, had to wait again.... In the hotel lobby, the arrival hall was packed with loads of people, especially students. They were all sitting on the floor and I wondered why. And the room my family was given, was very very small. 2 beds joined together and 3 people had to sleep in these beds! Ugh! My body ache the next day. But luckily, needed to stay there for 1 day. So never mind, forget about it.Didn't play in Genting although visited the theme parks and arcades. All we did was to shop around and looked for stuff to eat. And I must say the dim sum and the bak kut teh were really delicious!! yummy!! But that's only for tea break. For dinner, we had a sumptuous meal in a restaurant...There was a real big plasma screen in a pub in Genting showing a tennis match with Djokovic involved!! And DJOKOVIC won! COOL! p.s. I only knew that when I read the papers not that I went into the pub.Second day: Morning call at 5.30a.m. Approached Penang after checking out of the hotel. (I can't remember how long it took to reach there) We passed by the bridge which was like 13.5 km long? And on the way to Penang, the tour guide asked who wanna sing karaoke. An old man actually volunteered himself! And he sang a song with music on the background and lyrics shown on the screen of the TV. After one song, he actually requested to sing solo without music and lyrics. Some of them was like clapping their hands. Others was like "oh okay". And I think I fall under this category. This man got kinda addicted and continued with 3 and 4 more songs of his own. i suppose. But eventually lots of people dozed off due to their exhaustion. And if I didn't remember wrongly, the first place to visit in Penang, was the temples at the front of a huge and wide mountain. There were altogether 3 temples and they were built in a row... Last stop was another temple and in that temple, visitors could get the chance to take picture with a real fat and long yellow snake. But of course. I didn't, cause' I doubt I got the nerves. Outside of the temple, there was this fruit store. And tomatoes were available! Hooray!!! haha. So, that's the end of the day. (:Third day:Morning call at 6.30a.m?Breakfast in the hotel. Furthermore, the breakfast place was at the top floor. We were still in Penang the third day. If not wrong, I think we visited temples. And next to botanical garden. It was a huge place with loads of different kinds of trees. However, the tour guide only brought us to one quarter of the garden. Cause' it was too big and it would definitely take up a lot of our time and ruin the day's schedule. Next stop, the batik factory. Lunch was next. Speaking about it, the whole tour reached the restaurant but the dishes weren't serve yet and I don't know why. The meal was quite good. But the fish was not big enough for everyone. And there was this man, he was like so selfish. He got most of the flesh of the fish for his mom and himself. Luckily, there was this kind uncle, he sliced the fish tail and some flesh for me. (: After which, the tour guide brought us to a shop for local products.Next, we went to a mall. It was awesome there and I bought some tee. And dinner was at our own expense. So, the whole fam went to a recommended hawker centre. I ate prawn noodles and ordered soya bean milk. And mom, not knowing I had ordered drinks, she went to order soya bean milk too. And the milk which I ordered was served by a lady. She scolded my mom for not ordering drinks from her store but from others and also that mom shouldn't have bring other store's drink to the table near her own drink shop. UGGH!! Anger building up in me!!! Walking back to the assemble place, there was an Indian man selling fruits and tomatoes were available again!!! AWESOME! This day, Federer and Blake came to K.L's twin tower around 11:45a.m to 12+! Ugh, can't believe I missed it!!!Anyway the game between the 2 of them was shown in the Red Garden where we took our supper. Fourth day: Morning call at 6am?Breakfast in the hotel. And back to the room to take our luggage. Wanna go to the lobby, but were stuck at the 12th floor (where our room was) for at least 10+ minutes before the lift had got sufficient room for the 3 of us and a woman from the same tour. Headed to Kuala Lumpur. First station: twin tower.Nothing suitable to purchase there. So my family went to the food court there and had ice-cream!Then. the tour guide brought all of us to Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom... Mom bought 2 chocolate bars and one small box of sesame chocolate.Next, we went to another mall called, Times Square(one of the largest shopping mall in Asia). And I bought a backpack for myself... Left there around 5.30pm and headed to the hotel... There was traffic congestion outside the mall. I guess we took about half an hour just to make a right turn! Finally! Reached the destination around 6 plus. For some strange reasons, the room numbers which all people got were all messed up. My room number was mixed up with a Ng family? But still, no one bothered to change.... In order to take a lift to your own room, you have to insert your card into the lift so that you could punch the elevator's button. Dinner at a street with food stores at both sides. Bak kut teh again then. (:Fifth day:Morning call at 6.30a.m.Breakfast at first floor of the hotel. Before leaving for Malacca, we visited the Batu Caves. (I went there before and had climbed the 272 flights of steps to the shrine) There were loads of monkeys!! And some were holding on tight to their mothers. While some drank milk from their parent. Well, they're mammals after all so not that I'm a pervert of whatsoever. LOLBesides, these monkeys peeled banana skin at great speeds!!! Along the way to Malacca, the tour guide let us watch "Journey to the Center of the Earth" Although I had watched it once, but it was worth for a second time cause' it was starring Josh Hutcherson. (:At Malacca, visited temples and proceeded to "Tan Kim Hock" for the purchase of local food products. Also, we went to some historical sites where there was loads of trishaws decorated with lots of flowers. It was also there that I bought a McFlurry. Yum! Yum! Along the way to another venue, there was a car accident. I couldn't take a glance of it cause' everyone's blocking. But from what I heard from the tour guide, there was a young man in white lying on the ground and a Malay beside. fanning him continuously? After which, to Yong Peng for dinner at a seafood restaurant... A friendly Canadian lady in my tour group then got me a shrimp cause' I couldn't reach it...Finally, journey back to Singapore! It was hard to flag taxi there... and fortunately, a man in his white car wound down his window screen, calling us to hop in. He claimed he saw my mom quite a number of times in the market... So yeah. LOL! Lucky us!Overall, it was fun but somehow miserable cause' 5 days without msn and msg! Captions as follow: 1&2: 1111s!!3.Bosco on the lift!4. Fruity Sundae5.Beryl's Chocolate Kingdom[it isn't snowing but just rain droplets]
